CLUB HISTORY

CLUB HISTORY

In 1964, a small group of women in Sanford regularly met around a kitchen table sharing their passion of art together, critiquing each other’s work, sharing ideas, and supporting each other. This small group of artsy friends eventually became known as the Sanford Brush & Palette Club (SBPC). In the years since, the club was incorporated, became a 501-3C nonprofit organization, and grown to an organization that has reached over 100 members. Today we are continue to have a significant impact on the creative and cultural life of our city.
